Candida

Everybody has candida. It is what breaks down our bodies when we die. However it is in particular balance with other bacteria and when it gets out of balance and grows it becomes a problem for many people. To get it back into control you need to cut certain foods out of your diet for at least 4 months and then consume only sparingly once you get ontop of it. Following are those foods.

Foods to avoid
sugar, fruit (exceptions below) and fruit juice, mushrooms, melons, tomatoes, yeast, brewers yeast, vegemite, bread, crackers, wheat, dairy, gluten, caffeine, nicotine, tempeh, tamari, alcohol, vinegar, smoked food, dried food, pickled food, fermented food, peanuts, pistachio nuts, beer, wine, brie, camembert, MSG,

Other products or situations to avoid
chlorinated swimming pools, anitbiotics, additives, oral contraceptives, cortisone, stress, bad nutrition, damp moldy areas

 

Foods to encourage
grapefruit, lemons, apples, garlic, coconut oil, onions, ginger, cabbage, broccoli, turnips, kale

Other remedies
Zeolites - natural mineral that also removes heavy metals

grapefruit seed extract - also called travellers friend available from health food shops.

Alkalising - candida cannot survive in an alkaline environment

Removing Heavy Metals - Candida can exist just to counteract Heavy Metals

Fibre - psyllium husks 1 teaspoon daily
